Cleveland Ohio felt the affects of Hurricane Sandy, definitely not to the extent of those closer to the Hurricane, but it did rain for a week solid and many people in our area and in our Ward lost power and had flooding. Halloween fell right in the middle of the rain. And believe me, we cared more about the people that were going through hard times due to the superstorm than we did to miss trick-or-treating. It seemed silly to celebrate Halloween in the middle of so much destruction. But since our city moved trick-or-treating to another night we decided to go.
