The Super Moms-- 5k run

October 29, 2011
A few of my friends and I ran in a Halloween 5k race. It was the best. We dressed up as super moms, took pictures in front of our super vehicle (a mini-van of course) and ran in the freezing cold.

Trevor and Ashlyn's class Halloween Party and Parade

The room parents did a great job planning the Halloween parties this year. The food was really cute and festive and the kids had a fun time parading in their costumes.

This is a random photo of Ashlyn putting on face paint by herself. Corbin and Ashlyn had been begging me to let them put face paint on and this is Ashlyn's creation.

Patterson Farm

Dave had a week off of work so we took a trip to Patterson farm. It was so muddy but it was a miracle it was a day without rain!

Ward Trunk or Treat

Chapin Forest

We found this place a few years ago called Chapin Forrest. It is right by the Kirtland Stake Center and Temple and we like to go there during General Conference weekend and also after stake conference. We met some friends there on a nice October Sunday afternoon for a picnic.

More Corbin comments

Corbin: Mom, is Heavenly Father older than us?
Me: Yes, he is.
Corbin: (after looking at a picture of Heavenly Father) Then why doesn’t he have wrinkly hands?
Me: Because his body is pure and clean of imperfections
Corbin: He is like me. I have smooth skin on my arms and face and neck. But you, Mom, you have wrinkles on your fooorrrreehead…on your eeeeeyyyyeeeeballs…on your moooouuuuuth…you have wrinkles every where.
Me: Sweet, thanks.

Tonights dinner conversation

Ashlyn: Mom, I love you. More than anything.

Corbin: (looking totally perplexed) You like Mom more than Root Beer??!!

Ashlyn: Yes.

Corbin: Even more than eyeballs??

Ashlyn: Yes.

Corbin: But you can EAT eyeballs!

Oldies but goodies

Found these on Dave's phone. This is more pictures from our trip to Utah. Dave took the kids to Hill Air force base and their aunt Michelle read them stories and painted the girls nails.
