A sign for Ashlyn on her first day of Kindergarten

The kindergartener's have a pretty sweet set-up when they start school. The first 2 days are half days and the bus driver drops them off directly in front of their house. It was awesome and it was so fun to celebrate with Ashlyn when she got home. Corbin and I made her a sign that we hung on our porch to welcome her home. It said, Happy First Day of School Ashlyn! And then we taped a bunch of candy to it (you can guess who's idea that was:)).

Ashlyn getting off of the school bus with the principal.

Standing in front of her sign.

Favorite things that Ashlyn has said about Kindergarten thus far:
*I wish you could have Mrs. B too!!
*School is so fun!
*I see Trevor at school!

Corbin loved making the sign so much the first day that he insisted on making one for the second day of school as well. He came up with the darling words, "To Happiness and Love on your Second Day." lol!! So.dang.cute. We taped it to our window so she would see it as she walked up to the house.
