ANNUAL FLAG LOWERING CEREMONY:
It was kind of an emotional ceremony. I couldn't help but tear up throughout the program. One of the teachers used the help of her students to release a bunch of butterflies into the sky. It was in honor of a girl who was a student at Trevor's school who had passed away.

They also honored and recognized a woman who lost all three of her children to a house fire a few years ago. One of them was a student at Trevor's school. The mom has since had 2 more children.
Several teachers retired or were transferred to a different school this year. Here they are...

Trevor, sitting with a couple of his buddies.

I cannot believe my "little guy" is going into 3rd grade. It is unreal to me. Time flies so fast. This is Trevor with a couple of his buddies, Gabe and Owen.

Each year the students get to make a chalk drawing on the sidewalk outside of school. This is Trevor standing by his sidewalk chalk art.
