Trevor's class Christmas Party

I was in charge of Trevor's class Christmas party. The mom's had a good time hanging out with these crazy kids!

Dave's last volley ball game

We went as a family to Dave's last volley ball game of the season. The kids were very excited and we all had a good time.

Rain Forest

We had fun watching the orangutans at the rain forest.

Botanical Gardens and Gingerbread houses

Every year the Cleveland botanical gardens has a gingerbread house display. David took the kids to see them one afternoon.
This is a real gingerbread house with Pop tarts for the shingles on the roof!

More pics from the botanical garden...

Trevor's piano recital

He played Jingle Bells and the Wild Colt. He did a fabulous job! My friend Lisa is his piano teacher and she is marvelous.

It's my birthday

I turned 32, but I still feel like I'm 23. One of my friends had a little get together for me and it was great fun. Then the family and I went to Penetentiary Glen and did the life size (used to be candy land game) Snow reindeer game and played I spy and did some bird watching. It was so fun. Dave made me breakfast in bed (yum...eggs Benedict) and then we had a fun dinner with special drinks and cake and presents that night.

Thank you Terri for planning such a fun night!!

Brittany waxed our eyebrows for us. THANKS BRITTANY!

I BELIEVE IN YOU!

This letter was written by Trevor and given to our Elf, Trickster, so that he could deliver it to Santa. There has been a note to Santa almost every night since. By the way, no one in his Second grade class believes in Santa except for him and his friend Jaxson. He tells me that he doesn't care if they don't believe. He believes and he thinks its fun. Plus, his teacher told Trevor that she has seen Santa Claus in real life before! (Yes, we are going to try to hold on to the belief in Santa as long as possible!!:))

Santa wrote this back to him. (p.s. do you know how hard it is for Santa to write in those perfectly scrolled letters? It's hard.)
